To enable your notification preferences, click on the "My notification settings" on the "My account" page and enable:
Notify status: Enabled
Notify new content: Enabled
Content: Title Only
Notify new comments: Disabled
There are three reasons for this; you are not registered and/or not logged on, the board administrator has disabled private messaging for the entire board, or the board administrator has prevented you individually from sending messages. If it is the latter case you should try asking the administrator why.
The most likely reasons for this are: you entered an incorrect username or password (check the email you were sent when you first registered) or the administrator has deleted your account for some reason. If it is the latter case then perhaps you did not post anything? It is usual for busy websites to periodically remove users who have not posted anything so as to reduce the size of the database. Try registering again and get involved in the community.
If you are a registered member, login to your account and click on the "invite your friends" link in the User Menu. Type in your friend's e-mail address(es). Once you friends have activated their accounts, you can earn yourself userpoints - these userpoints can be excanged for theme downloads. So even more incentive to invite your mates..
If you forgot your password, you can easily get youself sent a new one by visiting the the registration page. Once on the registration page, just "request a new password" link, fill out your e-mail address and we will e-mail you a new password.
